Taking up much of the south of the Seven Kingdoms, Findain is the main hub of travel and trade on the continent. While most of the west is wilderness and farmland, around the inland sea there are several large cities (an area referred to as the Crown Region) including the capital. This urban region is the second largest in the Kingdoms, after that of Kaderria's industrial province, whose overwhelming size is due to a breach of the Second Fey Treaties.
According to the same treaties, a large part of Findain's eastern and northeastern land is set aside and let wild. A large variety of Fey make their homes in the forests there, including several of the larger species of dragon. The rest of the countryside supplies most of Findain's wealth, in the form of grain and produce from farmlands, and metals and salts from mines mostly located in the country's western districts.
Findain is an absolute monarchy (with elected royal advisors) ruled by King Gregory Giles Averill Findain II, with Crown Prince Dorian Norwood Anson VI next in line for the throne as of his brother's disappearance.
